No, joining Yooster™ is absolutely free and voluntary. You can unsubscribe at any time.

What's in it for me?
By becoming a Yooster™ member you'll have access to the latest products and services before the general public. You'll also get to tell companies what you think and influence what they do. And you'll have the opportunity to receive free samples to share with your friends.

How does Yooster™ work?
1. You become a member by creating your own profile. It tells us the kinds of activities, topics, products and services you know about and enjoy experiencing.
2. Businesses (manufacturers, inventors, entertainers and marketers) come to Yooster™ to find out what people think about their products, services and marketing plans.
3. The Yooster™ system finds the most relevant Yooster™ members for the business in question, and we invite you to take part in an online poll.
4. You accept or decline the invitation. If you accept, we send you the relevant product, service access, event invitation, or other gift experience for free, along with all the details about the poll.
For example, if you tell us you're mad about reading, and a publisher wants bookworms' views on a new book they're planning, you could be invited to read a sample chapter and tell us what you think. In return, you could receive a free copy of the new book, book vouchers, etc. And of course your opinion would influence the publishers' decision about how to change the book, or even whether or not to publish it at all!
Sometimes we'll also ask you to take part in a specific Yooster™ members' poll that has no free gift, product, or service attached to it, because it's just for Yooster™ internal use - to practise what we preach and ensure we invite you to take part in the most relevant business polls.

What kinds of activities, products and services will I get to experience when I join Yooster™?
The profile you create when you join Yooster™ will tell us the kinds of activities, topics, products and services you know about and enjoy experiencing. When Yooster™ is approached by a business that matches your profile, you will be invited to experience the activity, product, or service in question and take part in the related poll.

What will you send me when I join Yooster™?
First, we'll email you confirmation that your profile has been received and that you are officially a Yooster™ member.
We will then email you from time to time to invite you to experience new activities, products and services that are relevant to your profile, and to take part in related polls. If you accept an invitation, we'll post you its related product or service sample to experience, along with details about how to take part in the poll.
We will also email you the regular Yooster™ newsletter, so you're the first in the know about new plans, products and services, even if you don't take part in every poll.

How old do I have to be to join Yooster™?
Any Australian resident age 14 and up can join Yooster™.

How do I join Yooster™?
Joining Yooster™ is simple and free. Just follow three easy steps to create your own profile. (For now, only Australian residents can become members. Germany, the UK and the rest of the world is coming soon!)

I'm already a Yooster™ member. Can I update my profile?
You can log in to your personal member's area My Yooster™ any time to review and update your profile, change your password, see the polls you've taken part in, or cancel your membership.

How do the online polls work?
All the Yooster™ polls consist of one or more multiple-choice questions that, as a member, you can fill in very easily online. The polls may also include images, video clips, or other interactive elements for you to experience.
